| About Us
The founders of Quiet Aviation have been in aviation some 50 years from Helicopters to Aerospace.
Our facilities can be visited at the Deland (DED) and Orlando-Apopka (X04) airports.
The visionaries of QA are Al Aden and Fred Clark.
Al Aden was an Aerospace and Flight Test engineer with McDonnell Douglas participating in the F4 Phantom, F15 Eagle, and their Space programs. His specialty was Data Acquisition and Analysis. He holds Commercial, SEII, and Advanced Ground Instructor ratings.
Fred Clark has owned and operated OHA since 1964 specializing in helicopter projects that are a growth from the Sikorsky line. Notable programs include the Orlando 18 passenger airliner and the Helicamper. Fred is a high time pilot with SE, ME, Type, and Rotary ratings. In recent years he had a Curtis Robin and CabinAire fully restored. His last classic was a scratch-built Travel Air 2000 from factory plans that is discussed under Programs.
