About Us
The founders of Quiet Aviation have been in aviation some 50 years from helicopters to aerospace. These visionaries are Alan Aden and Fred Clark.
Al was an Aerospace and Flight Test Engineer with McDonnell Douglas during their F4 Phantom, F15 Eagle, and Space programs. His specialty was Data Acquisition and Analysis. He holds Commercial, SEII, and Advanced Ground Instructor ratings.
Fred has owned and operated Orlando Helicopter Airways since 1964 specializing in helicopter projects that were a growth from the Sikorsky line. Notable programs include an 18 passenger airliner, the Helicamper, and Army replicas of the Russian ???. Fred is a high time pilor with SE, ME, Type, and Rotary ratings. In recent years he fully restored a Curtis Robin and a CabinAire. His last classic was a scratch built Travel Air 2000 from factory plans, the Robin and 2000 contributing to the V8 experience.
The facilities can be visited at the Deland (DED) and the Orlando-Apopka (X04) airports.
Al and Fred do stand behind their products and can assist you personally, by phone, email, or on site answering and solving application and installation issues.
